Birdspotting is the hobby of watching birds. Trainspotting is the hobby of watching trains. Conspotting is the term I invented for spotting contradictions.

It should be the most important task of any intellectual, but nowadays it is apparently no problem at all to ignore and even defend life-sized contradictions.

For instance: at the same time, it is claimed that citizens are too irresponsible to be free, yet those citizens are at the same time presupposed to be able to vote wisely?

I'm tired of that, and for that reason, I have founded www.conspotting.com, which is a website that wants to incentivize people to report contradictions.

By building a semantic web of things that cannot be true, we should one day be able to map a road to truth. A collaborative effort by and for all truth-seeking individuals.

For the time being it is no more than a landing page, but the intention is to build a website fully dedicated to this phenomenon. I want to teach people how to conspot.
